Our Church supports Rock of Ages Prison Ministries:  The following is a poem written by a prisoner, who came to Christ, through Rock of Ages Ministry.

                                               Imagine

Imagine a world where time seems to stand still, where nothing you do is of your own free will.

Imagine a place where you are told what to wear, where your not aloud to grow hair. Every day you are told when you can talk, and even told where you can walk.

Imagine a world where you are surrounded by hate, and all you can do is sit and wait. It wears your emotions as you swallow your pride, surrounded by strangers with nowhere to hide.

Imagine a world where you have no freedom or choices. You can't sleep or think because of loud voices. A world where you work, but don't earn any pay, your worthless as garbage is what most people say.

Imagine that time crawls like a snail, where your thoughts at night are hopeing for mail. They feed you three meals, but make you eat quickly. What is it? You think, because it looks sickly.

Imagine a world surrounded by fences and wire, to leave and go home is your greatest desire. I deserted my family and all of their needs, I now live in this world because of my deeds.

Imagine God has the freedom to come or to go, He chooses to stay because He loves us so. Through all of this God's glory shines down, I heard of His plans, and His purpose I found.

Imagine a God who sees all of this mess, but through it all He is still wanting to bless. God your will and your leading I seek.

Imagine the change, ME, now humble and meek.        Dear friend this is why you, and your church, should not only support missions, but also support Home Missions.
